Default knife edging the H22 crank? Worth it or not?

Just curious if knife edging the crank is worth it since i'll probably have the bottom end balanced. This is for an all-motor application

Regards,
Mark

Personally I don't really think so...The crank doesn't sit in oil, but I guess you reduce air resistance. Since my crank snapped it's not something I feel like doing again..

Knife edging an H22 crank is a complete waste of time and money. H22A blocks have an oil windage tray already.Knife edging is done to help cut down the resistance of the crank through oil splatter. So knifeedging would be pointless.

Hi Joel:

Thanks for the input. I will keep it stock and just properly balance the bottom end.
