Same seat as the older GSR(no ***** on side) just a different cover. Dont believe people that say its a different pad etc, its the same seat with a nicer covering.

 

They use a softer foam in the butt area than the GSR's....

 

not that much of an upgrade from the gsr seats aside from the cloth. and you lose the height adjustability on the drivers seat, they took that out in the R

no complaints here though, i love my seats.

 

I'd agree, not much of an upgrade, but they are a bit more grippy because of the material. I personally like them very much.

However, if you have GSR seats, spending 6-800 dollars on R seats is a waste for basically a fabric upgrade (or lateral move). I'd save a bit more and get some better seats.

wouldnt we all love to have a set of jdm recaros heh.. moneys the limiting factor here for me.. I figure if I can find another set of R seats in the vicinity of 600$ then sell my gsr clothes ( i saw a set sell for 470 shipped on ebay ) that way I wouldnt be spending a whole lot of loot.

btw can someone post a pic of the front R drivers seat? and a pic of the rear as well? are the seats black? charcoal? or gray?

Seats are black matching the black carpet.

 

i HATE my R seats! they make my back hurt and legs and feet go numb after like 45 minutes of driving. they are AWEFUL! i wish i could get some better seats for not too much $$.. maybe some Sol seats next ... need to sit lower too.

p.s. it was a NIGHTMARE driving the car 1200 miles back from texas. i nearly said **** it.

 

Wow thats odd, i love my R seats and have no aches or pains after long trips. But as others have stated, its not a big upgrade from gsr cloth seats... a bit nicer and bling factor.

 

I agree.... quite simply the worst part of the USDM R....

 

waiste of money if you already have integra seats.. i like them better than previous integra leather seats, save your money for maintanance/parts or something.. or recaros..

 

after long drives, I am kinda achy from my seats. and I am not a big guy...5'6" and a little bit.

 

i upgraded from gsr leather to usdm ITR seats. i love them. now i want to upgrade to the JDM recaros tho. mmmm....yum

 

I liked my R's seats better than my roommate's GS-R leathers, but they would make me sore in the thighs and lower back on any drive over an hour or so

And bolstered? Well, kinda. My '83 wagon's seat with the busted lumbar strap feels more bolstered

 

if i can find some del sol seats black with black, i will be all over them. the stock seats are just WAYYYYY too uncomfortable for this 6'1" 180 lbs guy. yuck.

 

eek.. im only 5' 9" 145lbs and the gsr's are killing me....... alrighty...... looks like ill have to look else where

what would be a legitament upgrade from gsr seats without having to break my wallet? sup with del slow seats? are they comfy?...

well they hold me in snuggly. my wife on the other hand has plenty of room to flop around though. she's pretty tiny. seems like these seats are made for people who are roughly 6ft and 130-140lbs .

 

Nooooooooo. Not saying no as in they're not comfy. Rather I'm saying no to Del Sol seats from Integra seats. So, Nooooooooooo.

 

when I had the R, my lower back did hurt after 45 minutes or so. Don't know how the Recaros are but I hope they are a bit more comfy than the USDM R seats.

 

Recaros are nice but it might be worse cause the fit is much tighter than stock. The back is on how you sit in your seat

 

I wasn't to fond of mine. They made my back hurt!

 

The ITR is equipped with Recaro Alcantra as stock seats... They are not comfortable, but I won`t miss them. I like them on track though there are a lot of better raceshells
