Does anyone know where to get a cheap 97 type-R chin on the net. I went to the acura dealer and they wanted to charge me 200 without paint. Plz does anyone know, it would really help me alot.

The 97 ITR front chin spoiler comes pre-painted from the dealer because it was only available in CW that year.

Comptech sells them, but I don't think you're going to get cheaper.

$200 for a factory lip sounds pretty good to me, I'd suggest you just buy it, and remember you get what you pay for.

 

$200 for the 97 lip ? That sounds a bit low ive seen them priced more then that.

 

Acura lip is like $400 and the Comptech lip is $225ish.

 

Go hunt for somone who just did a JDM conversion. I knew someone that did a JDM conversion and I picked up his old lip + front bumper for $150 CANADIAN!!! Its funny actually. I had a 97 R #250 that time, he had a 97R #251!!

 

dood 200 IS cheap for a brand new chin spoiler.
