I will be in Hot Import Nights in Del Mar in February and i was wondering if you guys have any good ideas to add to my car before then that wont cost too much....

Dont just sit here and flame because you dont like the color or things, i could care less, im just looking for insightful ideas thanks.

Also there is a is 300 conversion on the taillights that i didnt have a picture of.

Personal opinion, do your whole interior white ,
paint the dash and everything. that's what I'm doing , cause I'm doing a show car aswell, and its pretty easy to do it yourself.

Just a pain in the ***, cause you have to wait untill everything dryes.

 

i say go get some more white paint and paint some more random stuff in your interior.....that would look HOTT!!!!!

i have gone to many HIN shows and nothing beat a nice lighting setup

try a under car neon kit and stobes.

 

don't stick vinyl graphics on the body.... get masking tape and make your own graphics... then spray paint it you in 3 different colors...

Out of curiosity, does the body work start to fall off when you go over train tracks?

id suggest some new mirrors and powder coat the center of your wheels the same color as the rim or the car, the silver throws everything off

 

I think you should add some gold 13" daytons with 2" spacers, add some plush velour to the interior, throw on the gold plated mud flaps and never skip out on the neon ---its not just for ameteurs!

Im confused....

But in the mindset of being helpful.... Do your interior.... ALL of it. Don't do white, itll look bad over time, and the glare will be horrible. Find two other colors and have everything custom done. Then get some I.C.E.

Now to be honest..... Put all your stock body parts back on, theres too much going on with your car IMO. The color can stay..... I can't say ****, I drive a turqouisish baby blue JDM DC2 myself, but the color is the only thing "different" on my car.

I would say you can keep the JDM front end on... I kind of think thats cool on civics. (to an extent).

be nice guys, by the looks of it OEM and JDM isnt his style...oh well, the car looks alright, well for a show car u know. You should do something to your interior it looks to plain. Maybe some nice seats or something but I kinda have to agree with lilhibbs alittle dont go buy some paint and start painting random ****

Not really my style. But to each his own. You might want to consider adding an aftermarket shiftknob, pedals, steering wheel, maybe different seats, something to change the interior a little bit. good luck at the show.

 

may i ask why you even bother coming to the appearance forum in the first place? i'd imagine you are the kind of person thatd spend thousands to get your car to look like a stock japanese car- let people do with their money what they will, its not RICE, it's preference of style. Now...if there had been a pep boys fart can hanging off the back of it, i would have spoken differently.
anyway... nice ride i second accenting more of the interior with the white.. good luck.

 

oh..by the way..as for the seats- i don't know what you'd consider costly..but http://www.speedpeople.com has a pair of racing seats on brackets for 500 bux..along with $60/ea. harnesses to boot.. not exactly pure performance items but it would definitely liven up the interior.
