That is correct! Well not all of us..I think there are a couple members that have actual EF's..but the rest of us are either misenformed, or liars.

True, all US models are ED. If you look at your vin # you will see it there. Example: CRX Si = ED9

yes, cause the crx even though they are USDM were built in Japan...thats one definate advantage of a crx over a civic...

i have a 91 hb and it was made in canada
says so right on the body....
for the vin # if the first letter/number is J it's from japan
if the first number/letter is 1 it's from the U.S. (right
if it's 2 it's from canada
M is mexico and there are more.....correct me if i'm wrong

my friend (CRX SI) has a '90 si and is was made in the U.S. his VIN starts with 1 while my '91 HF starts with JMED.

yeah, sorry but not a all CRX's were made in japan. Dont know who told you that, but its wrong. Quite a few were built in the states. Acually from what Ive seen, your more likley to have your car built in japan if its Cnd than if its american. Almost all the Cnd hatches Ive seen have Vins that start with J. Probally couse we got alot of stuff that the US didnt. Werid I know.91 SE civic hatches, RX7 convertibles, other import stuff, but nothing too cool.

lol mines from canada too, says it right in front of the rad on the upper crossmember, so it's a mock ef9 i don't care.
