hey, i got an 89 hf with a sohc non-vtec zc. i messed up the head and have to replace it. because i dont have any money, i might have to use the hf head off my old motor, my questions are:
1. can i use the zc distributor on the hf head?
2. can i use a d16a6 head gasket on the head?
3. can i use a d16a6 timing belt on the head?

im not putting the head on for power gains, but i want to sell the car asap and would like to have it running in order to get more money for it. thanks alot guys.

u CAN NOT reuse the head gasket.....ur timing belt should work as long as u dont mess it up...head bolts are another thing u shouldnt reuse they stretch and can cause compression loss or collant leakage....and possiblity of breaking ur ****....its gonna cost u alot may as well buy another d16a6 head or even a d15b2 head off a dx and swap ur cam into it find someone whos willing to sell really cheap

 

i kno i cant REUSE the head gasket, i got an extra new one layin around and dont wanna hafta get a d15 gasket. no money remember? alos, the head doesnt just bolt up? what else do i need to do to make it work? thanks alot.

 

uhhh it is the same head as a d16 without the extra valves
