I love the taillights on the Evo

 

LOL.....and they are the official sponsor for The Fast and Furious II....thats just great....lets see, we can support a film that will cause diarreah of the mind in our youth and then they can go out on public roads and kill each other and members of our families......what are they thinking?

 

mitsubishi is gonna regret promoting street racing when there insurance ratings go thru the roof ..and nobody wants to buy their cars ....

not only does it have turbo ....but its the street racers choice .....

 

regardless of all of the negative comments about the new evo, i think it will be a big hit with the american market. all of the would-be boy racers out there will be begging their parents for one. the thing has pretty much anything you could ever want out of a prestigious supercar but for a fraction of the price! i, for one, plan on test driving it when it comes out and if it impresses me enough i might just have to trade in the ol' e36 m3 for it!

 

i also think, however, that it might have been wise for mitsubishi to make the evo a limited edition vehicle to add a sense of rarity and exclusivity for it's owners, unless they plan to do this for the ralli|||art models.

 

o yea, my only complaint so far is the fugly taillights...bah!

 

they said they are marketing to the Gran Turismo youth who have saved their pennies to buy one of these $30000 cars as a first car. Over 60% of 16 year old's crash their cars

I'm buying a Buick. It will help avoid harassment by the police, and won't get keyed.

On a side note:
Mitsubishi needs to use some of their marketing money to pay off the NHTSA liberals and make them realize the traffic school programs need improvement, and the speed limits should then be raised for capable drivers. The new cars coming out are able to handle road conditions much better in the hands of a capable driver.

 

too bad the STi is even more limited than 360 Modenas...

Cool, I wonder how many ITR owners will stay with their cars after the EVO and STI comess out.

I already seen alot of old V8's guru jumping on the import market. Too many WRX around town, mustangs and camaros are beginning to be deminish.

 

It's nice and dandy that you guys get the EVO.... i will not get a chance even see one up here in Canada. unless it passes inpections

 

for Mitsubishi giving away such beautiful cars to **** em up with ugly paint shop and phat chrome dubz y0 *bling* *bling* rimz

 

I thought it was going to be available in Canada later this year. Hmm...sure sounded like it when the spokesperson said he expected to sell 4500 EVO's in "North America".

I'm sure it would retail for about $50K CAD.

just GIVE us the EVO VI TME!!!!!!! and we'll ALL be happy. woopteee frggidy dee. mitsubishi jacked up on the ACD and AYC, they shoulda given it to us at least as an option.

 

I agree. Too bad Tommy had to go switch teams ....at least they could have carried over the 6-spd.
