I have a double din...and wondering if this headunit will be flushed or stick out a little bit?

what type of car? you can fit anything better if you try.. just make custom mounting brackets or something.. im sure it can be done.. most shops will charge you extra for something like that but ive seen some good things done by people

metra makes a kit that will turn your double din into a single din and the 911 is regular din size so it should fit in the like a regular radio

It's going to be a iso mount, where the unit bolts directly to the steel frame. You can get a universal pocket to mount below it. You will not have to use a pos mounting kit and the metal sleeve and trim ring like you would in a honda.
