My car was rear-ended by a drunk person in Glendale, a few days before Christmas. And the driver did a hit n run.

My car is totaled and damages were reported around $9500.

I just freshly installed a Zex nitrous kit the day before. Didn't get a chance to use my kit.

That seems really high for your Accord. No offence but it looks too old to be worth that much. Was there also front end damage?

ya...the car wasn't worth that much. but it was worth alot more to me.

the cars blue book value was 4k to 7k...and the total was 9500.

no front end damage. just rear damage.

 

Hmm, Im not an insurance specialist but I would think the damages can exceed the amount of the car and be 9500. Doesnt mean they will give it to him.

 

yeah if the damage is more than the value of the car, then they give how much the estimate of the damage to the person ... but then again, it could hurt you as well, if u made a lot of changes in your car, and also can't pay the time you spend w/ the car fixing it up ...

 

We are still working out the insurance thing.

was going to install a ACT 6puck clutch too.

 

Go try out the nitrous! who cares about the rear

 

i've thought about that...but i already pulled the kit from the car.
