I have a 2001 EX, its a practical vehicle, not fast by any means but thats why I also have an Integra. Good amount of interior room and only the EX and SE models have ABS. I would recommend it.

 

cr-v is a great car. my mom has a 00 se.

pro's : real time 4wd comes in handy, spacious interior, peppy car - but not that jolt of power your use to if your use to stronger cars. gas is great. 25mpg. i can't think of anymore, list seems short, but you just gotta drive it for awhile to appreciate what the car is.

con;s : loud cabin noise if driven on unpaved streets. that's the main reason i don't like it. the noise is killer... i'd look into the new generation cr-v i test drove that, and its so much smoother and for about the same price (22g's 03 ex 4wd) its not that bad. also, if your the kind of driver that likes to turn quick, this car has high body roll. and you gotta adjust the line u take if you wanna take a turn fast.. (really get into the apex of the turn, that'll adjust to the roll)

i had cabin noise too at first, but changing tires, really quieted my car down. i also dynamatted the trunk and dynasprayed whatever else i could find in the back. the car is a great car for a commuter. its like a civic with lots of room! and a engine punchy enuff to merge on the freeway... i never hated my car except that its auto..
