You probably won't find anyone who has brought from eric b/c he just started selling engines. He has been a member of CL.com for a long time and is a really nice guy. He gave me a price of $620 for a JDM b20b w/out shipping. I probably will take a chance and buy from him.

i was just quoted $1950 for a b18b swap. a bit too steep imo. anyways, if you refer someone you get 75 bucks, not too shabby.

edit: totally did not catch the VTEC line above.

No, the B18b is non-vtec. Yet on his site in the specs it states that it is. I don't know the guy from Adam, I'm just stating you might want to check stuff like that out...

I dont get it. How do you guys find these deals on complete b18b swaps? Are they from reputable shops and have a start-up warranty? Best price on complete b18b swap i found was from hmotorsonline.com for 2200! Is it because you are paying for piece of mind or what? Let me in on the b18b price secret please! i dont want to spend 2200.

2200 for a b18b is big $$$. i called up jerry browns auto parts a few months ago and was quoted 1200 for a nearly complete swap. anyways, check the classifieds and try to piece together an LS swap. it takes more time but in the end you will capitalize on great deals.

that price was just for the swap. shipping is added to that price believe it or not. installation not included. i will be swapping it myself BTW. What does it take for a motor to be legal and legit? I would love to save money but i want everything to be legal and legit. im looking for a 96-up LS swap.
