Default TPS/speedo cable questions.

I was wondering if anybody knew if the TP sensor has ANYTHING to do with the speedometer and/or the speedo cable....Reason im asking is because my engine seems to "stick" when the clutch is pressed down...then once the speedo is at 0 the engine goes back to idle....BUT once i unhook the speedo cable everything is fine the motor revs up and do with no problem..if im not being clear...i'll put it liike this.

I can be crusing at any speed and then let of the gas and the motor takes longer to go down in RPM it wont go back to idle until im at a complete stop and the speedo reads 0.

When i unplug the speedo cable everything is fine revs up and down like it should.

I've already changed the VSS and speedo cable twice...any help????

I would be more skeptical of the EACV valve (as far as affecting your idle) not the TPS.
