Default Side mirror difference between 92-95 hatch - 96 and up civic and Integras.

How is fitment if say you were able to find side mirrors for your 92-95 hatch for a cheaper price but they were for the DC2s or 96 and up civics?? Will it work?

At one time wanted to find this information out, a bump for a possible answer. I personally doubt the ones listed will fit without trimming the exterior casing. I would be more tempted to try installing crx or 90-93 model teg mirrors.

Here is some 96-00 Civic mirrors on a 92 CX. My friend said it was a pain in the *** to get them to fit - so to answer your question, it can be done.

ill be doin this to mine soon, all you have to do is use a dremel and open up the stock hole a bit for what you need for the 96-00 mirrors to fit. Ive talked to 2 people that have dont it and they both said its rather easy, but you need a ddremel and take your time, you dont want to mess up.

Im doing it to get rid ofthe M3 mirrors i bought a while back.

I was thinking the same thing... the cheapest mirrors I found were like M3 mirrors lol or spoon copies. But I found a pair of 99 stock civic mirrors for a way cheaper price.

That is pretty much it.
I used 96 electric because they where free and my drivers side mirror was broken then I bought the car.
I think the electric mirrors where easyer to put in because I did not have to cut a hole for the joy stick on the manuals. I just tucked the electric plug inside the mirror.
I just opened up the 3 stock holes to mount the mirror
here is a bad pic.
New pics coming

I used electric mirrors that have a plug on them for the electrical harness you have to tuck the plug inside the mirror or cut another hole in the door to make it fit I modified the mirror insted of cutting a hole in the door

Here is the mounted mirror
I hope I got the right pic

In this pic you can see where the **** is supposed to go thru the door and is now used as a mounting point for the mirror itself.
Also to the bottom left of the same washer you can see the hole where the electric plug is suposed to be
I would think that the **** would use the same hole
