hey everyone - i have a 1994 integra RS and all of a sudden my parking break has been dragging slightly - and its making this really annoying sound - is there any way that I could adjust it to fix my problem?? i use my parking break everyday at school since the parking lot is slanted for drainage reasons. What do you mean by "dragging slightly?" Do you mean that when the parking brake is up the car still moves a little? If that's the prob, you can tighten it by taking apart the plastic console where the parking brake is and tighten the cords.

 

no its exactly the opposite - when its completely down (off) it is still rubbing slightly on the rotors. so i dont know what to do - if i can do anything at home - that would be the best- so if anyone knows - please let me know thanks- Brad

Check your brake pads.

 

we did - we jacked the car up and took the wheel off just to make sure thats what it was - any other ideas?? thanks - Brad
