Ok, so I went a picked up some OEM city lights from a 97 + Prelude for my CTR lights. Guess what? They don't fit.
Now I know there are plenty of cats on this board that have CTR headlights(98). Can someone please point me in the right direct. Is there anything else that will work?

accord rear bumper light sockets.
94-97, the 98+ will probably work too.
just hit up a local wrecking yard...or i'll post the part# if you need.

 

Duh! CTR headlights tend to be found on civics. (BTW, I live in the same city as you. )

Here is what they look like. But why was I told a Prelude City Light would work? These are from a 98 CTR. IS there a difference between the 98 and 99 besides the shape?

 

I don't know personally, but I wanted to hijack youy thread for something along the same lines.
I need the city light sockets for my EG JDM headlights. Will the CTR ones fit. Hopefully someone can answer both our questions.

 

the eg jdm headlights should be able to accept the ctr citylight socket, no problems

 

So that means those rear Accord lights will work. Correct? Could you post a part number for that?

34304-SH3-A01 it comes without the wire leads, if you get it from a junkyard they should already be on there = easier to wire up.

 

96-00 civic liscense plate light sockets will also work...

 

I heard the Prelude city light actually fit the JDM EG headlight, not the EK version...

 

i just referenced that car and the part# is the same as the one i already posted.

 

I have CTR headlights on my 99-00 Si... I bought the lights brand new and they came with Prelude sockets and bulbs. But I need the wiring harness that connects to the back of the socket ( the socket has two prongs, positive and negative ) so I can wire it into my parking lights. Can anyone help?

Well why the hell does everyone keep telling me that the Prelude sockets work?

Ok, well I'll go and get some sockets from the 96-98 license plate lights.

Also, anyone know where I can get amber turn signal bulbs? The clear ones make my headlights look like rice.

They worked in my 00 CTR headlights. I ordered the prlude sockets when I ordered the lights. They plugged right in.

 

the prelude sockets worked on my JDM spec clear headlights. i'm not sure what the harness is you are talking about, you just need to wire them to the parking lights.
my friend put relays on mine so the city lights turn off when i turn on the headlights

 

How did you guys wire them to the parking lights though... just solder a wire to each prong of the Prelude socket???
