Apexi N1 N/A Exhaust for ITR - Pics and reviewes please!
Hi guys!
I am planning to import a cat-back Apexi N1 N/A system from Apexi in Japan for my ITR euro spec. This system has 60mm piping and the tip of the Muffler is 90mm - NOT 115mm as the turbo muffler i have seen on pics her at h-t-forum earlier! Anybody in here who has this system on their type R!?
I have done a search - but all the posts about Apexi N1 i found related to the US version with the same muffler as the Turbo-system.
Give me reviews please! Do this system have good gain compared to stock!? Anybody got pictures with this on a car? Is this smaller N/A muffler as loud as the Turbo Muffler?
thanx in advance!

For the price (at least the price we pay for the N1 here in the US), it is a good exhaust, although the first bottleneck on the N1 Bpipe restricts flow a bit. (You could always have it removed....) I found a few threads that may help:

I think most N1 exhausts on street cars would be perfect to use in headache medicine commercials...

PM skafia, I think he has/had the apex N1
In the US i think all the N/A Apexi exhausts have the turbo muffler. But in Japan they sell the N/A system with another type of muffler, a smaller one... wich i have never seen or heard about. I guess the piping from the cat to the muffler are the same.
Hope you guys understand my request... I am not that good expressing myself in english

A buddy of mine has the SpoonSports N1 system on his ITR - thats a LOT of noise.. but a sweet tone i think... i like the sound of that exhaust, but Spoon is too expensive for me right now, i was hoping the Apexi system is a good replacement! ... and maybe a little more quiet

Thanx! I have read most of the posts about the Apexi N1 system - that is what makes me want one!
I like the looks and the reviews i have seen - but i haven't found any info about the smaller muffler... I belive that the Apexi has good value for money... and i like the idea of the super silencer for street use.

Have you checked Apexi's japanese site?? I don't know anything about a smaller axleback/muffler, but if they have it I'm sure it is on the site.
By the way, I'd say your english is very good!

You can use http://babelfish.altavista.com/ to translate the Japanese text on http://www.apexi.co.jp/
Thank you!
Now i actually got a drawing of the complete system for an ITR and read some more text about the construction.
But still i don't have a review of someone who has tested this system or photos of the muffler on a car...

Glad that helped. I have never seen the 'smaller' muffler or read anything about it.
The translation isn't the best, but it is ok. Kind of funny how some of the text translates.
