I ordered everything for under $90 from acuraautomotiveparts.com.. anybody ordered from here, and how long should i expect it to take? Are the itr sway bar parts still in huge demand and backorder everywhere? Now all I need is a BSQ mounting kit.. I hope this mod will be worth the money

Nope, they are pretty quick about getting it out. They are based in GA so mostly it dpnds on how far you are for UPS to reach you. If the part is back ordered they will contact you and let you know. From what I hear this really helps tighten up the car's handling. Probably the next mod I am going to do.

I recieved my ITR bar and accessories last night. My BSQ kit also came a week earlier.

For those to have it installed, what do you normally do with the ABS mounting brackets? Do they fit under the BSQ kit or are they discarded and tied down with wireties?

These are going into the car this weekend and I want to see if i can do my homework prior. Searching gives ample information but not exactly what im looking for.

Cheers,
Al

make the ride alot harsher? i can't make an accurate comparison since i installed my konis at the same time as the ITR bar, but i didn't think it make the ride alot harsher... in fact, i loooooove the ride...

Got my rear sway bar and BSQ kit sitting in my room as I type this. Gonna wait til winter is over ( I Live in Canada) because I have stock 14's w/winter tires on it right now and we have recieved about 3-4 feet of snow over the last week. If I put it on now I don't think I would be able to drive my car like I would want to, to feel improvements it will make. I can not wait til spring!!!!!

My car was lowered as well when I put the ITR rear sway on, and it made a huge difference. You will notice it just in daily driving. The car basically has zero roll in turns. Huge difference.

That guy doesn't know what he is talking about. The only thing the car does it reduces car roll in turning. You can take corners a lot faster. It basically reduces understeer. Doesn't make the ride harsher at all.

With my mounting kit (aka. BSQ mounting kit), the ABS sensor wire brackets do not have to be moved, modified or discarded. The 1/2" spacer fits right into the ABS sensor wire bracket.

You can go to https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=372599 for a recent discussion on the differences.

I just installed my JDM rear sway bar this past Saturday. For the time being I have left the ABS sensor wires dangling. I plan to do something with them once I install the Neuspeed lower tie bar. Here's a pic:

Install was a breeze. Only took me about hour, including putting the rear up on jack stands and removing the wheels. This is with the BSQ kit btw.

Actually, it does. If you think about it, an anti-roll bar is tying the two sides of the independent suspension together, so that force on one side causes force to be applied to the other side. This is desirable when taking a turn on smooth pavement, but it also reduces the independence, so if you hit a bump with one wheel, it'll also affect the wheel on the opposite side.

The important thing though is how much this affects the ride, and to me it's not very much. Maybe if you're used to riding in a limo or something you'll notice. This is the reason I always use the web interface when ordering stuff like this whenever possible; I hate talking to those morons who try to talk you out of everything ("what do you need one of those for?").

Here's how:

1.) Go to http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net/...searchpart.jsp and enter the following part numbers to order:

52315-ST7-Z01 swaybar bushing (2 needed)
52308-SS0-000 bushing bracket (2 needed)
52316-ST7-Z00 endlink bushing (2 needed)
52312-ST7-Z00 endlink bushing collar (4 needed) – this part can be reused from the stock swaybar
90175-ST7-Z00 bolt (8x35) (2 needed)
94050-08080 flange nut (8mm) (2 needed)
