My EG9
umm, first your pic doesn't work...
second, unless you imported a RHD Japanese Civic Ferio SiR over from japan, then your car isn't an EG9.

Hate to say but even in the US 4 doors are actually EG8 and EG9 chassis code. If you take a look in a 92-95 Civic Helms manual all the chassis codes are listed.
I don't have a helms, but I'd love to see it say EG9 or EG6 about a USDM car. EG9 = 4-door SiR which means b16a. there isn't a four door civic in the US with a b16a so I highly doubt that the helms manual refers to any USDM civic as an EG9.
look at any USDM 5g Civic VIN and you will not find "EG" anywhere. I think it's ok to refer to your car as an EG or EF or EK (because that's the equivalent chassis code), just do us a favor and don't use a number on the end. i have a 99 cx with a serious type r rubdown, yet you'll never hear my call it an EK9, 'cause it isn't.

Yes if you look on the vin of 1.5l Sedans you WILL find EG as in EG8. If my camera would allow me take a non blurry picture from my helms I would. Sorry for the miscommunication about EH9, oh yeah the Del Sols are EG2 as well
