It's hard to find just a shell, so obviously your best bet is to find one where the motor has been beaten to death the person wants to get it out of their driveway w/out dumping any more money into it. My friend bought one in DC/MD for $300 cash cause he found a girl trying to sell it for 1500 and he told her that with the blown headgasket which would take 1000 to fix it wasnt worth anything. But that's the deal of a lifetime. Call some junkyards and see if they have one (prob been picked over and rusted) or you could try http://www.thepartstrader.com but I heard the people can be shady....of course your best bet is to keep a lookout everywhere ebay, autotrader, newspaper, online forums, etc til you find a deal you can't pass up.

 

dang it...i had one for sale 3 months ago in va....NO ONE cept mike jmu1337 looked at it...only wanted 2500 for it too!!!!

How much are you looking to spend? I know of a few in MD.

 

I am looking to spend 2000 or less for a shell, 4000 is it has a b18 swap. But I already am looking at a black shell for 1500 so if you have any friends nearby then i will consider.

 

The three I know about are for $3800 and above. None have swaps though.
