Default mugen twin loop?

does anyone know how the mugen twin loop would sound on a 95 civic coupe? Do you think its worth spending 500 bucks just for the axle back? How does it sound when vtec hits? The reason im asking about this exhaust is because my whole car is mugen except the exhaust. i have a tanabe racing medallion exhaust and i got a ticket so i wanna get a new exhaust that sounds and performs better.

P.S. anyone wanna buy a tanabe race medallion axle back???

That's really over priced, I believe you can get them for about 350-400 in Canada.

the reason its so much for hatchback is becuase it has a different tip. If you cant justify it then dont get it. But you gots to pay to play. I liked mine. Sounded very healthy and very loud on VTEC. oh and 400 CAN.. WTF??? I doubt it. Isent that less than a knock off in the states???

I love my twinloop. It's very quiet and makes a deep growl when vtec engages but I do have a DOHC engine. I don't know what the SOHC would sound like. I bought mine used for for about $250. Good luck finding it that cheap, I was lucky.

Funny he said "everything on my car is mugen" but he still pushes the SOHC motor .... last time I deciphered my mugen catalog (yes deciphered its in kanji) they didnt have a whole lot of sohc parts .... not to mention if you have a mugen bucket seat or a mugen coilover set ... then your already a baller, so 500 for a muffler aint nuffin ..... but what do I know

Just get it from someone who already has it and realized they paid too much for a muffler and want to get rid of it. But seriously, I think they look nice and sound nice (on my friend's RSX-S) but besides the price it also melted part of his back bumper where the loop is too close to the body.

yet u run teins.. and not a mugen coilover.. oh well regardless in california that exhaust is still considered illegal and you understand exhaust tickets in california are no longer fix a tickets.. but actual tickets where u pay up to $100 or so dollars for it..as of Jan 1 02...and the mugen will be just as illegal and if some cop sees your bling bling exhaust he can still reward you with a ticket..I say get a RS*R old school one.. basically flows the same as a mugen and is probably the quiestest exhaust u can get besides a ITR/CTR oem muffler.. oh yeah no reason to use the term "******" in here we are all here to learn and ask question...

cheap is expensive and expensive is cheap
if u like it then get it..... for mugen twin loop nice sound with dohc vtec
not as monsterous with sohc vtec...like they said find it used for a better buy
really worth the money.....and even the spoon n1 melts ur bumper...the good thing about both muffs is they re not angled so u will never scrape when u back out of a steep driveway etc...

i never understood that. Why doesn't Spoon Sports fix it already? or is the melted bumper look cool in Japan?

on all the 6Gs i've seen with a spoon n1, it either touched the rear bumper or completely melted it. and this was w/o any type of rear lip ... just the OEM rear bumper.

This is on my 5th gen hatch. The part# for the spoon n1 is the same for the eg and ek. This may be the reason.
