I realise that this is a somewhat newbie question, but it needs to be asked:

I was just talking to some guy and he thought my car was a civic dx, but it's actually the Si, can anyone post some pics of their 92-95 civic si coupes. Cuz it's just confusing me, I can't find a reliable pic of both the si and dx, how can you tell if the emblems have been changed? thanks.

there is no 92-95 Si coupe..the Si's only came in hatachbacks..the coupes are EX's..

no prob, do you know of any ways, I just checked around under my hood, and basically the only thing I could think of was the "VTEC" "HONDA" on my valve cover.... Cuz DX Coupes didnt come with vtec...

look at the gauge cluster..the ex/si will have a redline of 7200..the ex/si's have 14" tires and rims and the dx's had 13's i believe..

l0ok at the cluster, the ex cluster cam with a tach, and the dx didnt. also ex had a sunroof.

 

My redline is 7200 rpm, dunno bout the size of my wheels, but they're hubcaps.

dx doesnt have:

sunroof
vtec 1.6L sohc motor
power windows/locks
cruise control
14" wheels/hubcaps
some Ex's have rear disc (optinal but i believe it came on models w/ abs,dont quote me on this)
tach redlines at 7200 rpm
94+ Ex (canadas Si) also has the tweeter pods in the doors standard

 

In Canada the Si's (=EX in the U.S.) did not come with 4 wheel disc brakes. In Canada the only one with all disc brakes is the SI hatch. (I'm 90% sure...)

I think you just hit all of the high points

I get more comments on those, everyone tells me what a clean install they are, and I'm like "It should be, cuz it's stock ".
