Anyone know of any places online that sell new MPFI systems for my 91 civic dx? I got the cash to do it, just cant find anywhere.

Um.... no.

get the intake used, and before you install it, take it to a machine shop to get it cleaned, ported and polished. The D16Y8 minifold gives you the most power. the Injectors, TB, and Distributor you can get new from the dealer, but it's a waste of $$$ IMO. just clean used parts up and use new gaskets / seals. I've seen someone on Ebay selling new dizzys as well. the ECU is hidden anyway, so that's pointless to get new. and the wiring is going to be a custom job. When I did my MPFI, I pulled off all of the loom on the engine wire harness and put all new loom on after I was done wiring. now it all looks stock.

If you're really dead-set on all new parts, Hondaautomotiveparts.com, or your local dealer, but neither place is going to have any kind of "kit" and by the time you're done peicing it all together from these places you just might burn up that entire $3000 in dirtbike money!

 

Yeah, if you're that obsessed about looks just polish it up and get new wire loom. It'll look fine!

 

hey buddy!! if ur gettin 3000 why dont u just get a b16 swap and then used the reaining 800 to get kyb adjustable struts and skunk2 coilovers!! so then youll have decent suspension and a pretty fast swap!!thats my way to spend 3 g's

 

i wouldnt say hes gonna have extra cash till he does everything to it maybe buy headers or an exhaust for it too

 

do the swap if you have the cash.
If you don't want to go all out - get a zc or a sohc vtec
