My friend gave me a set of his old front Power Stop cross-drilled rotors from his 99 EX. I have a 92 VX and I know the rotors are slightly smaller, about 1" in diameter. Will the bigger EX rotors work with my stock calipers without any problems?

 

I doubt it, plus you may have clearance issues anyway if you are still running with the OEM VX wheels. I am not 100% on this...hopefully someone can verify, or correct me.

I'm not worried about clearance issues since I have 15" GSR wheels. I thought I would ask before I wated my time test fitting them and they not work. If no one responds with a solid answer, then I guess I'll test fit them and find out.

 

The EX/SI has larger front rotors and calipers. So I REALLY don't think that the EX rotor will fit under the VX caliper.

 

i had a 92 cx and the size's are jsut a lil diffrent its gonna be hard

 

9.4" are found on most 92-00 base model cars (CX, DX, CX, HX, LX and some EXs). while 10.3" found on Integra/Si coupe and some EX coupes and sedans, are first different in few ways. knuckle is slightly different and will not accept the larger caliper, with that you cannot swap the rotor.

if you want to upgrade grab the knuckle, rotor, caliper combo from 94-00 teg or the larger Si/EX brakes.

other upgrades include those sold on http://www.fastbrakes.com which involves using 11" corrado rotor and SRV/R/NSX calipers

 

If you decide to upgrade to EX/SI front brake setup, be sure to also grab the EX/SI master cylinder and get the EX proportioning valve (check part #s w/Honda to make sure that it is diff from the stock VX prop valve).

 

Without any mod to caliper or other things they WILL NOT FIT
