If you haven't been there already, check out this link...it might help!

I hear the voltage regulator (I think) are kinda crappy on the Viffers. I think that's why you have spares in the trunk...and they run kinda hot, so be wary of that.
Also, I'm not sure about the LBS. Is this the newer one? I heard the newer LBS is set-up so that if you squeeze on the rear brake, like 30% of the front brakes are applied and 70% of the rears; if you squeeze the front, then like it's a different percentage or something. Let me know how you feel about it, when you get the bike! Because I'm considering a VFR800 as well...

Before I can approve this upgrade, I need more justification.
Please provide additional information regarding pricing and how you anticipate this peformance increase will be observed/realized over time.
I'm concerned that the difference in bikes (your old one VS the proposed model) may not provide the type of peformance value over the next months or years riding, and you will yet desire MORE power. Maybe a R1, Blackbird or Haybusa? I luv Honda's. What's the objective?

Well, Figment, I want this bike because it fits me. It has exceptional power for an 800, sounds different, looks different, has Honda designing, and very good qualities. As opposed to my Current VF700, it will be a big improvement. I dont want anything other than a Honda. All my friends have ninjas and they can keep em'! I want the Honda because it is fuel injected, comfortable, Good looking, and Carries the Interceptor name and performance.
The list price is 9,499 for the 2K1
I found a 98 for 7299, but I think I may go for the 2k1 cause If I feel the need I can tade it in when And If I feel the need for more. right now Im just starting out and want a bike that is reliable, quicker than my current(for obvious reasons) bike and that is different.
Shoots...Scores!
