does anyone remember?
i remember reading awhile back about someone posting that their headlights getting fogged or something and they brought up some type of chemical to try using to get rid of the browning in their head lights.....does ne one remember this? or know what chemical i can try using to remove browness in the headlights? i think it was acetone???
Acetone is a chemical which 'evaporates' water so I believe it would take the water condensation out of your headlights. I have the same problem(with my tails) and I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, probably because I don't know what the acetone will do to the glass/bulb/contacts/etc but I think it's safe.
Yes I believe it was Acetone. Acetone is a strong solvent and f rubbed carefully over the plastic lenses, it may remove some of the discoloration. Just be careful solvents melt plastics.
There are plastic cleansers/polishes that work pretty well also. Look for cleaners used on gauge faces and motorcycle shields.
