Default Lights

My previous owner of the car got into a crash but now the seat belt light is always on. Is there a way to repair this?

"remove the bulb? =\"
that's deep..real deep.

what about start looking at the bolts tighting down the seat beats thing?
look for loose connector or so.
what is the light called again?
go see your manual for further instruction.

yea, sorry for that post...anywayz, it might be a sensor in the buckle part, where the seat belt locks in. i kno if i do i just right, i can put the latch in, and push it a certain way to make the light go off, even tho the seat belt is not in. it might be stuck, and will not turn off? just a suggestion.

BTW, i do wear my seat belt, it was jus something i noticed one day when i didn't buckle all the way in, but the light didn't come on.

Check the harness that you just unplugged from under your seat. Sometimes those things are faulty

check the wiring where the seatbelt plug is. That could be disconnected. If it's connected check for current. might be something wrong in the latch that's not connecting the circuit making the light go off. If that's the case honda is suppose to replace the latch for free. seat belt is warrenteed for life.
