waterpump help...
okay okay...i didnt know where to ask this question, but since its an integra motor, im just going to ask it here on the integra forum. I tried searching, but no help found.
okay with the question...
I stripped the treads on my waterpump bolt on my B18c1 motor and now i cant get the bolt to tighten and seal the waterpump. Now question is what size is the thread?? i have a re-threading kit, but i dont know if the treads are standard or metric. Im guessing its metric but not sure. And i dont know what size it is. So far all i have is a rethreading kit for 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", and a 1/2". Can you guys help me??? i need help asap. Thanks.

if you have the rethreading kit you should be able to tell by comparing with the bolt.
I dont know off the top of my head though i would have to check. But i would be
doing the same as you so I suggest you try comparing. but you will need to get
helicoils or some sortof insert
im thinking it should be 6mm

yeah well i did compare them, but i dont think im doing it right or sumthin cause as of right now, both the metric, and standard look like they have the same bolt as the thread. Im guessing its a metric pitch thread since most of the hondas are metric. But all i need to know is what size, cause i dont want to mess it up too bad and use the wrong size re threading thing, and make like too big of a hole.
