I've looked all over, including Ebay for black headlight housing for my 98 prelude.. Does anyone have any suggestions??
also my prelude has a H22A1 (195 HP stock as opposed to H22A that is 200 HP stock and torque diffs) the H22A1 is USDM - correct?

 

they already have black housing headlights...... try using the search function, it was covered lass than a week ago, and every week before that

if you've got a 5th gen you should have H22A4, NOT an H22A1, and if it's a 97 or 98 model it's a 195 HP, 99-01, 200HP, and H22A1 from the 4th gen VTEC is 190HP

i'm pretty sure the only differences are between the headers.

 

I took apart my headlights and painted them black. Just put them in the oven on some foil or a cooking pan at about 300 degrees and check on them every 2-3 min. Keep doing this until you are able to pry them apart, and paint the crome piece whenever you have taken it out...
