Does anyone have a list of the difference,trim wise, between the JDM EF hatch and the USDM EF hatch? I've done a search and came up with nothing. Any website suggestions would also be great.

the jdm ef has the master cylinder on the passenger side instead....that is the only difference

 

JDM vs USDM....

JDM has one less letter than its USDM counterpart when spelled.

 

You need to be a little more specific. There are more differences than just the Mater Cylinder. Plus, if its USDM, its ED, not EF. So, I may be a little off (I read this stuff off of a website a long time ago), but USDM has 3 trims: STD, Dx, and Si, the JDM has similar trim levels, but they all have different motors. I believe one was a 1.3L economy model, they had a 1.5L (carbureted), 1.6 sohc (I think like our Si), 1.6L DOHC (ZC) and the infamous b16 in the SiR. As far as interior goes, we all know what the SiR's looks like, but I doubt many of us have seen the insides of the other JDM versions. They seem to have made a lot of little changes between interiors and such with every model, so who knows.

 

That must have something to do with the fact that it is RHD!!! That much I can figure out myself,but thanks anyway. I was talking about trim parts,such as mouldings, mirrors and interior trim pieces.

also the whole bumper is painted in japan not just the bottom portion and some ef9s come with a pin stripe in the molding making it look very jdm like
and there are many cool jdm options too.....like curb antena, CUP HOLDER THAT GOES ON TOP OF THE DASH next to the dome cluster....cd player no bumper supports there either we get the chincy support they get none at all

Do you have a picture of that? I have never seen or heard of that as an OEM Honda option before. That would be NICE to have!

 

Its a Japanese Option. I dont think that was available in the US.

 

Have you seen one? I haven't. I understand that it may be a JDM option... I still have never seen it and I would like to see how it is mounted and all that.
