they're different.
the area where the instrument cluster is is different. the vents are different as well. not sure on all colors of interior, but when i had a black interior on a 91 sedan, the dash was all black, versus the black with grey trim on top on crx/hbs.

...so if they're possibly interchangeable, then a CRX dash swap into a 4dr is possible too then...wish someone did this already for me to know...

My buddy has a crx dash and console in his 90 civic lx 4dr. It "bolted" in but there are gaps on both sides of the dash where the a pillar, winsheild, and dash meet. Other than that it looks clean. Also according to him those gaps can be fixed with minor modding.
