A buddy of mine put some H&R wheel spacers on his impreza 2.5rs. Made the wheels more fluch with the sides of the car and widened the wheel base just alittle. Seemed simple and cheap to do. Anyone done this? Good idea, bad idea?

 

Check out h&r, I hear they're top quality. I can tell you that you might have problems with the fender lips though. I simply put on 7in wide rims and 215/40 tires and I rubbed the fender lip. Lowering also plays a big role.
