okay my b16a2'd 90 crx is in the shop getting new tire rods and rear control arms. after that everything will be fine with the car except i need more power and i don't wanna leave the NA scene with this engine. as of right now it has CTR cams with a pr3 ecu, hks exhaust with a car sound cat and a DC JDM header. what will it take to get me close to 200 out of this car. i know new cams is a possibility but what about a whole new head? i got a few grand to waste on it and this is not my daily driver but just a project so what should i do next. as for power levels right now i know it's pretty quick but it's not fast enough. TIA.

 

how much hp do you have now...if youo don't know, you should go to a dyno place and get it dyno'ed and tuned all at once..that'll increase power...higher compression...complete head job...new wild cams with a crazy top end. boring out the cylinders won't give you too much power...but thats an option too

 

closest place for a dyno is 5 hours away one direction. i've done some tuning with the vafc that's with it but not a whole bunch since i only had the car one day.

im leaning towards a whole new head but i heard that the b18c5 head doesn't flow as well as the b16 head. i could always get a b16b head and pistons which is where i'm leaning towards now. what would be the best options for cams with daily driveability. the CTR cams are nice and loud right now and added a pretty good power gain on the butt dyno but it's still not enough.

anymore ideas?
