The answer may be obvbious to some...but not to me!!

Can I get custom 2.5" mandrel bent piping to fit on to a mugen twinloop exhaust if I were to just buy the muffler??

Also, would a carsound cat w/ 2.5" inlet and outlet with JDM 4-1 be good for this setup??

For a car thats relatively stock right now would 2.5" be too large????

yes you can get mandel piping to fit the mugen but you have to take it to a muffler shop. most muffler shops use crush bent piping.

yes that sounds like a good setup

2.5 will offer more high end which fits your setup. i say go with that. i prefer high end to midrange and torque.

 

I didnt think you could buy just the axle back alone, as far as i know they only sell the twin loop as a complete cat back system, when i bought my mugen sport exhaust for my JDM Si (GSR) i had to buy the cat back system, and unless its different in the US the ITR twin loop had to be bought complete from the cat back too

 

this is a used axleback only for some reason....but im too late..its sold!
