HI there!!
I need a pics of the floor of a civic STD, it as to be a std, the pics must be taken near the shifter. And I also want the dimension of the hole in the floor for the shifter. My ca was automatic befor the swap, Now it's std and i just fitted a plate for my shifter, now that plate keep coming some noise from the road and it's pretty anoying. So I decided to weld a plate in place with the correct dimention for the shifter
thank's in advance

Nope they are supposed to be the same breaka,
fact are that my car was an automatic befor the swap, and I doubt that auto and std have same hole in floor!!

From what I have seen, most people cover up the remaining portion of the hole with fiberglass. You could weld in a plate too just like you are saying. All you have to do is make sure that you can still shift properly. You don't need to get it EXACT like the cars that have manual trannies from the factory.

yhea, I got the solution!!,
I'll post pics when I will be done, with my engine code btw, for those incredule poeple that still think that my JDB d15b is BS,
here it goes: I will make a plate in aluminium, slotted in the location of the bolt already drilled in the floor, then, I will make another hole in the plate, same size as the shifter mesurement, then, when I will put it in place, I will only have to place the plate in the desired location!! isn't that a good option??
