Default Didn't realize how much i/h/e helped......

....until i went stock. Before when i had on my i/h/e my car was pretty quick, of course nothing fast but when i needed to pick up speed, i simply downshifted and that sucker would move pretty good. Even on uphills, i was able to pick up speed. Now that i went completely stock, i realize just how much of a difference these parts made. I thought they didn't do anything to my car but now i realize they did. Now my car doesn't even pick up any speed on uphills and when say i'm going about 80 mph and i downshift to 4th, my car hardly pulls but it used to pretty good. I don't know but i just thought i'd let you guys know that my i/h/e really did help and i didn't realize it until i went stock. It's like i'm driving a totally different car, the difference is really big, i was pretty surprised. But i did use only the top products such as a Greddy exhaust, Neuspeed header, AEM CAI.

your cai made the biggest differance....your header made hardly 3-5 hp diff which you can hardly feel, and your exhaust gave you a nice +1 hp....it was the intake

ve your wrong here. I bought my cat/back first, then header then CAI and the exhaust seemed to make the biggest difference. If you free up the breathing of the motor, E.G. bigger exhaust you will also need to free up the intake. They go hand in hand. But a cai really doesn't help that much, unless your a ricer and the sticker that you get is put on. we all know what stickers do for HP

yeh the exhaust(catback & header) makes the biggest difference. trust me I have a Bosal cat-back(2.25 mandrel) and its sooo restrictive cause its an offset muffler(stock setup) and I can really tell its restrictive almost like factory especially at top end. once i get my 2.5" custom bent with apex-n1 I'm definately sure it will improve. I also have CAI and 4-2-1 Header.

My setup pulls low-mid range.. yes i said low. My top just sucks. 15.9 1/4mile all the way baby!! wooo.

it's the whole package... when you install a product you must find out what else needs to be upgraded in order for the product to max it's potential...
if he had only gotten the cai with the factory exhaust, it would really make no power at all...

why are you going stock again???

yeah? u selling it or something.
I think that each part will make its own difference in power, but they work best together. although for a first mod, I'd probably say exhaust, then intake. and headers last, cause theres no point in having big headers if u have stock exhaust, and they dont make too much of a difference really.
and also, some intakes may be better than some exhausts, and some exhausts better than intakes. It really depends on what brand you get.
ie: an R&D exhaust is probably better than a no-name intake.
an AEM is probably better than a no-name exhaust
This is just my opinion though

Personally for me and through the different dynos i have seen, it has been proven that a intake makes the most power over the other 2 mods. But of course it all works together as a system. Sometimes it will be the exhaust that makes the most power or rarely the header, but it's mostly the intake system that really gives the engine alot more air than a stock system. And if you add a cold air piping, it's even better.

For me, the felt the most power with my AEM CAI. I think the header gave my car some mid range power and the exhaust just completed the cycle and made everything seem "right". Reason i'm going stock is i plan on selling my car in the near future and cause i need a bigger car.
