where can i find a ys1 lsd tranny everyplace i look i cant find one is there any shops you guys knwo of that would have one ????

 

only the ys1 in japan came with an lsd. the usdm ys1 that came with the 92-93 teg gsr did not have an lsd. hope that helps.

I'm lucky, I found a Y1 LSD tranny not long ago. Didn't pay much for it either. $850 cdn, that's about $500 us.

 

got mine on E-bay 625 with shipping. but you have to search it all different ways E.G. ys1,y-s1,ys-1 try each way as some peeps make mistakes. I looked for about 3 months before I found one at a good price. Or call an importer and have them get you one

 

buy aftermarket lsd and call it a day

Except for the LSD, are the JDM and USDM YS1 trannies the same?

 

i guess you can say i got really lucky...got mine for only 300....anyone know where i can git new synchros for them?

 

why do you want lsd so bad they so hard to get (like good head is hard to get ) good luck

 

it's gonna cost you 300+ to rebuild it! try the 92-93 usdm ys1 synchros, they should fit!
