I got a Solobaric, whats a good amp for it. i did a search but nothing.
i just got a solobaric l5 and i need a amp for it. it says it can peek at 1200 watts. i dont want to max it out so i think i would want a 800-1000 watt amp. i know this sounds silly but what are some good brands and what amps do they have that will handle the sub. i dont know much about audio equipment.
the kicker 1200.1 amp is great for a solo 15. just a little FYI if you plan on making a ported box for the 15 you NEED a subsonic filter.
Rockford Fosgate (Power Series). Best bang for your buck! A Rockford Fosgate 750s will be enough for that sub. I'm going to get a solobaric L7 with the same amp I suggested for you.
I would stick with kicker. remember that they are manufactured with the same specs in mind. they do this on purpose to get you to buy as much stuff of theirs as you can. the KX1200.1 is a very good choice, I beleive it allready has a subsonic filter built in. also it is better to have a little more power and back the gains down to improve the headroom on your amp, expecially at lower impedences where you sacrifice some control. good luck
