white=lean

as for the oil, check the grommet thing on the bottom of the valve cover that keeps oil away from the plugs...may be leaking

Here Ill take a pic...stay there, hold on..

There is the part number for the rubber grommets, and the location they go on the underside of the valve cover..

hope that clears up any questions about their function

ahh, okay. I did a valve adjustment not too long ago, so i'll take her off and see what is up. Also, what did u do to get your valve cover looking like that? And, why would my plugs be indicating that i'm lean, when i'm basically stock.

To get my valve cover a little shiny, I first sandblasted it...I then sanded it with 150, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, and then 1500...then polished it with mothers polish...didnt turn out exactly like i wanted it to though.

As to the plugs..good question, when you say basically stock...what else have you done to it? I dont think this would interfere with anything...but check the gap on your plugs too

Is it just my imagine, or do those plugs look perfectly fine? They might be SLIGHTLY lean, but a tan colour (which they basically appear to be) is optimal.

Any other opinions?

I just had the same problem. I replaced my valve cover gasket and the plug tube gaskets. Total parts costed $21.87 from Acura .
