AEM intakes for cheap!
I know this should be in the "Best Buys" section, but I wanted to give a heads up to fellow Accord owners on some deals I found here. http://www.adventon.com/ I got this through the folks over at ClubRSX.
Some examples...
AEM Short Ram:
90-93 Accord --- $85.90
94-97 Accord --- $76.25
98-02 Accord 4cyl. --- $99.52, V6 --- $85.90
AEM Cold Air:
90-93 Accord --- $166.69
94-97 Accord --- $167.08
98-02 Accord 4cyl. --- $175.08, V6 --- $186.88
AEM V2 Cold Air:
90-93 Accord --- $220.40
94-97 Accord --- $220.40
98-02 Accord 4cyl. --- $220.40, V6 --- $231.61
Pretty darn good deals.
Maybe this'll help someone just beginning their mods.
p.s. No, I am not in any way affiliated with this store.

I personally haven't seen independent dynos on this intake yet, but hopefully this will give you an idea of the structural differences.
If I wasn't so paranoid about water getting into the engine, I'd get an CAI as well. The recent flooding that's been going on here in Bay Area isn't helping me change my mind either.

There was a recall on all of the early BPV's. They not only didn't always work, but they broke into pieces and went into the TB and IM's, lodging in and causing damage on some cars. They are sending out free replacements if you call their support line or go to their web site, but I just wouldn't trust the new ones until they are proven.

That's it---no bypass valves or CAI's for me.
Here is AEM's statement about them, at least they admit the problem
