Lowered 4th Gen Accord Extreme Camber Problem???
I have just purchased Koni Adjustable with the spring combo...
Right now I have Suspension Techniques 1" lowering springs (Dont buy them)
Since I installed the first set over 2 years ago, I have gone through 4 sets of front tires....
OK, it was Auto Tranny before i did the H22 swap (Now 5 speed)
So as everyone knows you cant really create much of a smoke show with that tranny.
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY TIRES???????
I know I will need a camber kit when the Koni's come in. But that will lower my car alot more.
I have had alignments done, and nothing fixes it?
BASICALLY, IS MY CAR JUST LIKE ALL OF YOUR CARS?
IS THERE BAD CAMBER ON ALL 4TH GEN ACCORD AFTER A LITTLE LOWERING?
THANKS

do you have any pictures of any of your old tires? It might not actually be the camber. do you rotate your tires? were they only worn on the insides? my car is pretty good without a camber kit, and im lowered almost 2.5" just rotate the tires often.
just go to an alignment shop and get it aligned. on my truck, i can run it really low iwth some serious negative camber and it's fine. When i first dropped it though, it wasn't the negative camber causing the problem (which is what i thought it was). the alignment shop told me that when you lower a car the negative camber is ok to an extent, but it will probably knock your toe-in out causing extreme wear on the tires, and since you would have negative camber it would show the most on teh inside parts of the tires.
how low did you lower your car? when you look at it, does it have serios negative camber or did it change just a little?
i'd say just go get it aligned and you'll be good. changing anything on teh suspension needs an alignment. i do no matter how i change it just to make sure it's good.

with little bit over one inch and your tires fu_k up that bad?
I have eibach prokit for 1.5 drop, negative camber is minium.
mess up toe eat up tires way way way more than negative camber.

I rotate my tires every 4000K, right after oil change.
it's something you can do to negative camber wear.
what kinda tires are you have?
what size of rims?

did you recieve a print-out of your alignment from the shop?
when your camber gets lower then -2 then you will have problems with tire wear
like said before your toe-in is creating the tire wear, take it to be aligned again and tell them to set the toe at 0 all the way around

well with most alignment shops telling them to set it at 0 they generally get close enough, plus the diferrence that a slight toe-in made in handling is compensated by the camber
