are toda headers street legal?? because on their site it states "This header features a larger JDM 2.5 inch collector for maximum power and is for off-road use only! " so i was wondering if it is legal for us on the streets

 

obviously not....

but if oyu live in a place like arizona that only does smog checks you could probably get away with it. Californian and a few other states do visual inspections to see if the parts on your car are "stock" or comply with stock specifications.

**** Dat ****! I live in cali and rock a Toda header like theres no tommorow. I say **** it and throw 1 on. JDM is great.

 

It's a diclaimer that toda and pretty much any aftermarket company will put on their parts for legal purposes. Laws in your area will determine if it's street legal or not. I would bet that it's not legal since lots of cities have adopted laws against modifying cars.

But really, how are you going to get caught unless you have emissions to pass or a cop is looking to bust you on modifying your car.

that wasn't his question. he was asking about toda headers in general--that entails the use of the plural...
