send ecu to hondata? anyone used add on chips? any info will help -also anyone used those spoon plug-between-ecu-and-wire-harness vtec controller yet?

Why? Have you upgrade your valvetrain?

Stock GSR cams stop making more power at 7600, so their is not point to go any high unless you have some agreesive sames and valve springs that can handle the high RPM.

What is your setup?

Hondata works well.

 

First of all you will need to upgrade your springs, and retainers for the higher reving. But i forget who makes it but they make a fuel cut defenser wich bypasses the fuel cut sensor and allows you to run till your head blows off the block.... lol.. I think top fuel makes it but im not to sure.

 

i'll have zex's stage 2 cams and new ITR valve springs and retainers

 

Redline your car in 3rd gear and shift into 2nd. Works everytime.

ECU chip or Hondata is best safe bet.
