bass amp to sbuwoofer conversion....is it possible?
i wanna turn my 250 peavy bass amp with a 15 inch horn into a subwoofer. that part is easy, but id like to leave the amplifier, eq and inputs intact somewhere in the car and with a swtich, change the subwoofer back into the amp, the idea would be so i could pull over, pop the trunk and play my guitar wherever i go....im not really asking how to do it, just wondering if anyone else has doen sotmhign similar or if you guys think its a cool idea or a waste of time.
power inverter my freind 30 dollars at auto parts store, 20 dollars at costco.

2 hangups.
1. There is no such thing as a good sounding free-air subwoofer
2. Unless you spend $600 on an industrial inverter for an RV, you will just keep burning out the cheap ones. Those $20 ones only kick out about 100 solid watts.

i have seen those car adapters with 500watts plus for about 50 bucks AND bassa amps arent air free yo, they have ports or open backed
