As the topic states, how long is production going to continue? I could get a used one, but I would only want a new one as I would be autocrossing the car extensively (B Stock) and would want the peace of mind knowing that I was the one putting the harder miles on it, not some 19 year old who eventually defaulted on payments, and before he got rid of the car smote the living **** out of it...

But I can't forsee being able to finance one until 04-05 assuming we don't have any kids.

Through 2005 seems to be the popular consensus, with maybe some minor changes coming in 04. But of course that is all subject for rumor.

 

Honda doesn't have any plans to discontinue the car.

 

Originally they were only supposed to be made for two years. Not sure how long it will be made, but with Hondas statement of wanting to convert all cars to iVTEC by 2005, the engine will probably be reengineered, and maybe a body style changeup.

If Honda sticks to its new 5 year life span on vehicles, then 2004 would be it unless it gets a redesign.

 

the rumor going around s2ki.com is a redesign in 2004 for the 2005 model.
