*No Flames Damn It!*

He's asking for stock times, not "what will my car run?" hypothetical crap.

Back to the question.

I've seen stock Del Sol VTEC (or just i/h/e ones) running like high 15's to low 16's.

Vehicle weight is more than you'd expect.

Just curious - why are you asking?

You couldn't find it because most people hate these questions.....

And the most common answers are:

"Depends on the driver"
"19's"
"Go run and let us know"
"Shutup noobie"

DOHC VTEC.....which one? B16 (oh which generation), B18C1, B18C5, B18C3, B18C, B18C R spec?

What Intake, short ram or cold air? What company?
What header? SMSP, Hytech, DC sports, Spoon, Mugen, JDM 4-1, Comptech, should I continue?
What exhaust? What size is it, who makes it? Does it have a resonator?
What's the weight of the vehicle? What tires are you running? What gearing? Do you have a LSD? What size rims are you running? Have you ever driven on the track before?

Here you go: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=199592

You must not have searched hard enough, good luck with the Del Sol build-up.

Okay.....Stock vehicle would be a B16 however, the mods are still in question.

Del Sol VTEC could run anywhere from mid to low 15's, depending on driver. With bolt ons(i/h/e/cat) I would knock off about a second.

Oh Jesus come on.

1 full second from i/h/e alone?

Bullshit.

Have you tried to knock off a full second in the 1/4 mile?

The best hp combo possible out of an i/h/e combo is what, maybe 15? Maybe? 15hp = 1 FULL second knocked off?

Sorry to be an ***, but it seems like magazine racer "logic" there. A full second from a mid-to-low 15 down to a mid-to-low 14 is a whole hell of a lot harder to accomplish than some bullshit bolt-ons.

I wouldn't even think about a second.

The only way I can even fantom that you came up with that answer is you did this but, learned to drive in the process and got better. HOwever, I would go from 17's to 16's.
Not 15's to 14's.

I think they'd run about mid 15... you should check this out http://javascript.internet.com/calcu...orsepower.html

Again this is just a rough guesstimate... and I am not sure if it's for a front wheel drive car... or if that even matters. Hope I helped

Nah I just suggested about a second is because most people I see with the i/h/e combo knocks about that much off their e.t. I know it's not ALWAYS the case but it's just an estimate.
