will si injectors fit d16y8 mani?
Anybody know? If i am goin to use a d16y8 mani, is there a way that i could use the y8 injectors, but still have it work corrctly(not have a lean or rich mixture)? If i did do this would i need to adjust the timing in order to make everything work wonderful? Any thoughts. Any help would be greatly appreciated, oh i am doing the mpfi conversion. I have the y8 mani and i figured i would get a lil more air into the chamber for some power. Anyone know how well this works?
Thanks,
Matt

I would suggest you 88-91 SI injectors. The Y8's flow the same but there OBD2 and use different harness plugs. This means would have to rewire and remove injector resistor box also. Just swap the squirters
Could you guys tell me or how you figured out how to hook up the y8 mani running on the a6? I have heard the vacuum hoses were a little different but i do not have any other info besides that. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

I ran mine on a Z6. I by passed the coolant lines thru the intake manifold and throttle body completly. T them off from one side of the block to the other 2 at the other end. Vacumn lines are the same, I used the Y8 map sensor which got rid of that hose and the large one on the front goes to the Canistor on the pass firewall. FPR still goes to the same place. You may have one in the back which work for the cruse just plug it. Have any issues IM will help if can
