On my way back to school tonight, something flew towards me from the sky...don't know what it was...but i wasn't aware of it when it came down so hit it at about 90MPH.

Now my windshield is cracked....check the oem parts store and it cost $400 just for the glass...doesn't anyone know where i can get a used windshield or any shops in LA that can replace my windshield for cheap?

If you are familiar with the "Glenoaks Races" go there during business hours. take the 5 exit Penrose in sylmar. Lots of used glass places. Got one for the old eg, OEM 85 installed. If you need better directions let me know.

Make sure those independent windshield places get you the right glass, w/ the moldings, and that it fits like OEM.

depends on where you are coming from. I dont know where you are, so i cant give you directions. But say you are doming from the torrance area or something. Make yourself over to the 5 NORTH and take that all the way up into sylmar. exit Penrose, make a right at the exit, go up to Glenaoks, and then either make a Left or a Right, there are Used Glass places in both directions.

Not sure about there, but in FL windshield is a 0 deductible item. Had to have one replaced a few years ago in my old Civic.

R u sure the insurance deductible for glass is 500? In Mass its 0
