Default for once im glad i wasnt in my civic.

i own 2 cars a 94 hatch w/b18b and a 91 RS camaro. I was going to Sacramento to visit family for the holiday. I had for some reason decided to take the camaro. On my way up there I'm cruisin about 75-80 mph in fast lane. In my rear view I see an old bronco speeding past in the 2nd lane. In the third lane was a Budweiser semi. For some reason the bronco swipes the semi. causing the tail to fishtail wildly than the unthinkable happens the semi starts to flip to the side and is moving very rapidly to my lane. I had no time to react all I could do was steer to the car into the best crash position which I decided was the semi's wheels. So the front of the car is smashed windsheild broken i have a spraned ankle and the bronco took off. The chp officer said I should have been really fucked up from the wreckage that he saw.
from lookin at the damage I came to the conlusion that if I were in the civic I would have been dead. Just wanted to share The tragic end of my camaro that could have been me or my civic.

i think the bmw commercial said it the best, something to the effect of: "taking the phrase unaviodable collision... and redefining the word unavoidable." id rather have the agility of my civic to aviod any accident, but i wasnt there so i cant say... sorry to hear about you and your car.

I think if he had it to do all over again he sure as hell would have gotten the plates off that bronco and had that dipshit put in jail, or at least that's what I would've wanted to do (of course assuming that the accident would have taken place no matter what kind of car/handling I had.)

What you fail to see, is that the guy in the bronco looked over, said to himself, "check out that stupid chevy camaro, should have bought a mustang!" Then had a huge brain fart and wrecked. Had you been in the civic, you probably wouldn't have been in the same place at the same time.

Just my $.02

Good to hear you walked away! Getting away from a tangle with a rig is always a good thing!

No unfortunatly they didnt find the bronco. the good thing is my loss was covered by budweiser. all I had to do was sign the car over to the budweiser company. Its just pennys to them anyways. Now they pretty much own the car. Im most likly gonna get blue book but im not sure. When I find out how much im getting im probably gonna drop another motor the b18b aint really cuttin it anymore. Depends what my financial situation is going to be.
