I have a possible trick lock, can you confirmed
The car has always meen this way , I have had it for over a year now. I have a two door.(look at username for more info) This is what I have noticed..................
...
If I try to unlock the passenger door with my key from the outside of the driver door, I'm not able too. (only the driver door unlocks) If I go to the passenger door and try to unlock the driver door from the outside with the key, I'm able too. (both doors unluck) Either door I go to I'm able to lock both doors from the outside................my question to you is does this happen to your accord or is it just mine.

Yeah, think about it. If you unlock the driver's side door, you don't always need to unlock the passenger side door. Sometimes it's safer so someone can't just hop into the pass side and put a gun to your head. It also saves wear and tear on a door lock that would be used over and over for no reason. The logic behind the pass door lock is, if your unlocking that door to put stuff in/for passenger, you're still going to have to unlock the driver's door to get in and drive.
damn near every car company has the same design. every car with power locks that i've ever used a key on does the same thing. sometimes you don't just hold the key, you just quickly turn it again.
I'm with krotchwaffle My wife has a 4 door 2000 civic , one turn of the key to the left only one door unlocks (the door that i put the key in) if i turn the key to the left again all the doors unlock. I forgot to mention this , this is why i thought my accord was "F"- up THANKS AGIAN STEW
no kidding. I have factory alarm and have honestly NEVER used the key in the door.
I still think the VW thing where you can roll all the windows down with the key is the shiznit
