hey i just bought a crx si 89 has anybody just rattle caned the moldings on the side door and lower door. it is black and i want everything to be black should i primer or krylon it this is just my winter car i have 99 turbo civic in the garge

 

I did mine with some glossy paint from home depot...my car is black too...i sprayed it with just the paint (my car needs a paint job anyways) and its still on their...still glossy too...been about 2 months going onto 3...you might want to primer it, paint with light layers to avoid drips, then clear coat it...HTH
